Getting My Birdy Fix

My birdy has been really sore lately, and mama found blood on my diaper, and she decided to take me back to KL. So we took plane back to KL together with Uncle Chris and gang.
This is me looking at a helicopter at Subang Air Port. It is really cool, me and uncle Chris were having fun watching it.
The next day we went to see doctor, and doctor told mama that he need to fix my birdy, and we had to go for a "surgery".
So that night, ah jiu and mama told me stories about Buzz Light Year getting circumcision, Woody getting circumcision, and the whole night all the characters in the stories all got circumcised!

Because papa had to work, ah jiu accompany me to the hospital the next day.
We were at the waiting hall and they were showing Thomas Train on the tv! I really like this hospital!

We checked in to a room so mama and Kai Ann can rest together with me. And I started to get hungry, and demanded for my lunch, but mama say no food until after the surgery!
Suddenly a nurse came asking to changed into an ugly scrub, and I protested and refused to wear the hideous looking garment, and went to the OT in my own nice shirt!

Mama sent me to the entrance of the OT and had to go back to Kai Ann cause she was crying so loud that the whole hospital can hear her! So I went to with ah jiu, and he told me stories about Buzz Lightyear, and the nurse gave me Buzz lightyear's mask, and that was really cool!
When I woke up, I didn't feel too good, and I saw my popo, and I started to cry. (Before this I didn't cry at all!)
And yes they put on that hideous looking scrub on me when I was asleep! That is why I am not happy!
Once I changed back to my cool dude shirt, I am a happy boy again! And I got happier When I saw monorail train from the hospital window!
After a while I started to fell hungry again, and demand for my food, so my kong kong and popo got me some food.

and so I eat...
and eat...Yes I was really hungry!

After that doctor and nurses came to see if I am ok, and I was a bit worry, but I am a brave boy and I didn't cry!

This is how brave boy eat medicine, no fuss, no complain!
I got a Buzz Light Year as a present for being a brave boy!

When I got home I refuse to put on pants because it hurt! So I went bottomless for the whole day!
See how popo tide my shirt with a rubber bend so it didn't touch my birdy.

On the 3rd day after operation, I am back to normal and went out to have breakfast with Hornbill.

Now it is still painful, but I am jumping up and down and running around when I forget about it, but sometimes I will request to be carry around because it is very painful. I have got new game now which is fixing body part, which involve sawing and cutting the part and fixing it.

Oh, during the whole operation day, I must have heard not less than 500 stories, cause I keep demanding for them! Lucky my ah jiu is a story machine! Thank you ah jiu!

Where is Butterfly?

There is a butterfly in KJ's "garden", and below is the video of him telling papa what happen to the butterfly.

Papa, "AHHHH...."

KJ's 2nd Birthday

Hello everyone, I turned 2 on the 28th of June, and we have an island celebration and on the 1st July we went back to KL for my big birthday party organized by my beloved Kong-kong, Popo, Ah Jiu and ah Che.

First we took a flight, since I am already 2 years old, I am getting my own seat, and this time, I really enjoyed my flight and I was very excited with the whole experience!
Note that both me and my papa looked tired, because our flight was delayed by 2 hours, and I didn't have my nap because I was too excited about the whole flying experience.

When we got back to KL, our grandparents are so happy to see us,
I was having a lot of fun playing with my favourite ah jiu, and he got me a lot of toys!
I got some little dinosaurs toy, and my grandparents got me this lovely bike from the US.
But I got sick on the day of my party, I had fever and the nice Doctor person gave me some medicine to take. And I am the most cooperative medicine taker, everyone watched and cheer for me.
What I love best about birthday part is the singing part,
I looked forward to it the most!

I also LOVE cutting cake!
and of course the eating part.

KA 3 months old update -Mama's Entry

Kai Ann is 3 months old, and she has grown so fast and so well! The recent check up show that she is now 6.9kg (no wonder my arm hurt so much from carrying her for just a few minute), and lenght 65cm. Comparing to KJ who was only 5.4kg, and length 57cm, she is on the 97 percentiles.

KA does not sleep much during the day, but she is very good at night, she wakes up once at about 1 am for feeding, and go straight back to sleep, and the next feed usually around 6am, and she will sleep till 8am, or until her brother wakes up.

Her favourite position is up right, she is a very strong girl and she is already sitting in the high chair to join us at the dinner table.

She loves moving around, and coo responsively to people who greets her. Laughing out loud is her latest acquired skills.

She rolled over once, and like her brother, didn't want to try again.

She loves the sea, and we have to take her for a swim every evening if weather permit. And the sea water is good for her skin. She is still having rashes problem, and her cradle cap is slowly reducing.

This little princess is a lot of work for mama, because she only want mama, but since she turn 3 months old, she is a little bit better, and starting to take her papa well.

Toilet Training KJ - Mama's Entry

4 days before KJ's 2nd birthday we have decided to start toilet train him.
Since KJ is about 5 months old we started putting him on potty every morning to do his "doodie", and he has been very good in letting us know when he need to poop. Until recently, this boy stopped informing us when he need to do his big business. So I have decided to start toilet train him, and take him off his nappy, cause he is getting too comfortable in his nappy.

Day 1: He did his morning "business" in the toilet, and after breakfast we successfully coax him into peeing in the toilet. And that was the only success for the whole day, after the morning, he was happily going in his training pants, and only notifying us when he wet his pants. He even poop in his pants, and refused to be washed by the maid.

Day 2 (Today): Successful morning business, 2 wet pants, and 1 successful peeing in the toilet right before nap time, which earn him reward of 3 stories. We told him if he does not soil his pants later, he will get 5 stories as his bed time stories. (He loves his stories.)

Me being the geeky mom like I always does is reading up all about toilet training now. Am open to suggestions from all experience mom! I want the experience to be less stress for both parents and child. Hubby has been really supportive in this so far!
