5 Months Old

Hello Everybody, I turned 5 months old yesterday! You must be wondering where have I been? And why is there no news from me, that is because Papa and Mama took me for a trip to visit many people but I will tell you the stories later. Here I am posting some recent photos of me for those who are having KJ withdrawer syndrome.

The Story of My Name

Mama thinks it is important she make this post so everyone know the meaning to my name.

This is how my name look like in Chinese. The first character Wu, is my family name, which is from my papa's family.

楷 (kǎi) means model, pattern.

靖 (jìng) means pacify, peace.

Above is my name's literate meaning, but mama and papa told me that they chose this name because it also share the same sound with calm sea in Mandarin. So here you have it, the meaning of my name.

Above is how you say it in Mandarin, my legal name is Ng Kai-Jin, and many of you do not know how to pronounce my family name Ng. Ng is cantonese of Wu, and to pronounce it, you just make the N sound while nodding your head downwards! Or just like how mama like to put it, make the sound like you make while in the toilet! :)

Papa Is Back!

My papa is back you see, I get to hang out with him in the "hao peng you" pose again, and as you can see I am happy again!

Happy Day

Today I woke up at 9am, mama was very happy! And she decided to take me out with Jiu-Jiu, and she dressed me up:

Cause I love it!
I am very happy because mama told me that I only need to have 1 more long sleep and a few little naps and papa will be back!! I am so happy that I start chewing on mama's sling!
When we got home I was so excited that I kept talking none stop, until mama force me to sleep, and I still protest loudly because I want papa to come back fast, but mama told me if I don't nap papa will not be back!

After all, this will be a lovely day! My happy day, despite the rain!

I miss my papa

My papa went for a dive trip at Indonesia, and left mama and me at home. Everyday he will text mama or call, but I can't talk to him, because I don't know how to! But I want to let papa know that:

Since papa is gone I have been doing things on my own...
Ride on my own in my car seat while mama drive...

Roll over and play in my island gym alone...

Since papa is my "hao peng you" (best friend), and we always hang out the "hao peng you" way, and now he is not around, I can only hang out with Niu-Niu in our favourite position. But he is no fun!

Since papa not around to take me for my walk, Kong-Kong will fill in for the slot. And I allow him to take me around without making much fuss.

Papa, when are you coming back? Mama is bathing me everyday, she is doing ok only, I miss you! I have been a good boy and been guarding mama 24 hours a day, never to let her out of my sight. Unless other guys carrying me, because I miss the male bonding part! Come back fast papa, I want to hang out with you!

Ok, I am tired now, will hang out with kong-kong and poh-poh for my nap on the fit balls!

Club House Fun

Today Tata Carine, Mama, Liv, and I went to the club house to swim in a swimming pool. Since we came back from the island, mama and papa had not taken me swimming yet. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time.
When I get into the pool, how I miss the water! I start kicking the water like a fish back to the sea...

I splish and splash, kick and kick...Oh how good this feeling is! I wish mama can take me here everyday! But where are the fishies??

An Eventful Day

My papa went for a diving trip, and left me with my mama at my kong-kong and poh-poh's house. So I am stuck with mama who took this opportunity to do her women thing, like chatting none stop with tata Carine, Auntie Siew Wye, and Auntie Synnee. She thought I was having fun when she brought me over to see Ryeli jie-jie's new mei-mei, Haye Li.
Mama, what are you thinking? Yes the girls are having fun! See this picture?
Liv and Ryeli jie-jie were running in and out none-stop with Ryeli jie-jie's toys, and what do I do?I just lay there waiting for my mama to finish talking. And I think the 2 most bored person in the room were me and Haye Li!I feel for you girl!!

When the women finally finished chatting they finally going home, I was missing my papa a lot and wanting to do some male bonding, so I show mama my grumpy face, and she decided to cheer me up by taking me to the Club House's play room!I was left lying in the pool of balls, but I still miss my papa, and that didn't cheer me up at all. Lucky mama got Uncle Harick to play with me, but the horse didn't cheer me up either!

Finally, uncle Harick saw his favourite thing on the wall, the mirror! While checking his hair out he saw me laughing, and that finally cheer me up, and I started my laugh at everything I see and hear!

My First Family Trip

As you all know that my poh-poh and kong-kong brought me to Genting Highland for my very first family trip. It was interesting trip, but I think papa and mama are more excited on dressing me up!

So, that's my 2 days 1 night trip to Genting Highland, it was really fun, can we do it again!?

Yo! KJ in Da Haus!

Yo! Da name is KJ with an attitude!

Today Kong-Kong and Poh-Poh decided to take me to Genting, so I bring along my papa and mama to be my body guard and stylist. How you like my look?

I think I am the coolest baby around! Bow-wow-woow-woooww-yi-pee-yo-yi-pee-poop!

What I learn today

I learn today to:

1. Read alphabets A to G - I enjoyed the reading part a lot, mama show me flashcards and read me the word, and show me pictures, I laugh a lot during the session, and mama says we will do that everyday!
   
2. Turn from my back to my tummy and back to my back - but I still haven't get my arms out under my belly! I for once enjoyed rolling over today, I was laughing a lot while doing it too!
3. bath in a big bath tub - I especially loved the bath tub, there were soooo much water, and papa was in the bath together with me too! I hope we can do that everyday!
   
4. sleep on my own - This I don't like, my mama didn't breast fed me to sleep tonight, and she decided to teach me how to fall asleep on my own! I didn't know what to do, and how to sleep, so I cried in my cot. My mama let me cry, and later mama and papa came in to kiss me and tell me to sleep, and they left me again! I cried more, because I want to have something to suck on, and mama came in again and she got me a pacifier which I used to hate, and this time I suck on it, and it wasn't that bad. I fell asleep while sucking on the pacifier, and hearing mama's voice. I also heard mama told me that she is proud of me!

My mama say I am a big boy and I will slowly learning more things as I grow older. I hope most of the things she is making me learn is fun, and not tough like falling asleep on my own!
